Meet Our Team in Latham, New York
Kaitlyn has been a valuable part of the Fox Vision Development Center team since May 2014. Originally from Western NY, she graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Childhood Education and Literacy. Kaitlyn's prior experiences include the fields of elementary education and childcare, where she witnessed the impact visual difficulties can have in the classroom.
Kaitlyn's passion is helping children overcome these challenges and reach their full potential through Vision Therapy. When she's not at Fox Vision Development Center, Kaitlyn enjoys spending her time with her husband and daughters, especially by having game nights. She also dedicates time to making a positive impact in her community through volunteering with the Glenville Rotary.
Debbie joined the team in August 2015. Debbie is the therapist in the Plattsburgh office. She graduated from SUC@Buffalo ’76 with a BS in Special Education and Elementary Education, the University of Vermont, Burlington ’80 with an MEd in Education of the Severe/Profound and Multiply Impaired and an AAS in Nursing Clinton Community College ’84. Debbie came to Fox Vision Development Center after retiring from teaching with 36 years of experience teaching special needs populations at various functioning levels. Having worked with special needs students and adults, Debbie strives to help her patients increase their skills, provide ways to overcome their challenges, and utilize what they are learning in Vision Therapy to make their learning and lives easier. When not working Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering at church, camping, cooking, crocheting, knitting, and exercising.
Debbie has been the office coordinator of the Fox Vision Development Center team since September 2024. Her prior experiences have been in schools and public libraries. Debbie lives in Colonie with her husband and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, visiting museums, and watching college basketball. She also loves spending time with her five grown children in person or over weekly family zoom calls and makes many visits to Texas and Tennessee to see three of them.
I've been with Fox Vision Development Center since March 2023. I graduated from Maria college in 2023 with a combined degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting and bachelor's degree in Health and Occupational Sciences. My prior experience includes working as a Medical Assistant at Ellis Medicine in various specialities per diem, from an Assisted Living Facility as both a resident and medication aide, to working as a teacher's assistant at the local daycare while continuing my education. My pivot towards working with the younger population was the motivation and passion to help guide them towards a successful future. In my spare time, I spend time with my husband, friends, and family. I try to promote positively in any way I can through social media and those around me.
Jessica began working at Fox Vision in August 2024. I was born in South Carolina but relocated to Upstate NY and graduated high school from the Ravena school district, where my children now attend. After various positions not directly involved with the public, I found myself missing working directly with people. At Fox Vision, I enjoy working closely with children (and adults, too!) to help them obtain skills that will improve their daily life. Being hands-on while watching patients discover vison they've never had before has truly been a fulfilling experience. When I am not at work, I enjoy taking my kids on hiking trails, reading books, and having video game nights.
Kendra started working at Fox Vision in September 2024, I am originally from Ravena NY, and now I reside in Postenkill NY. I graduated from Maria college in May 2024 with an associates degree in occupational therapy and a bachelor's degree in health and occupational science. My previous experience is working as a tech at Samaritan Hospital, and I have worked with kids in daycare/school based settings and as a nanny with a variety of ages over the past 10 years. I love working with kids and helping them learn new skills and watching their confidence grow. When I am not working I love spending time with my baby girl and husband. We enjoy going to church, camping, fishing and hiking
