Meet Dr. Robert Fox, Our Vision Therapists and Staff

doc websiteDr. Robert S. Fox, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.  

Dr. Robert Fox has been in practice in the Capital Region Area since 1986. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the SUNY College of Optometry. Dr. Fox has also completed a residency in Rehabilitative Optometry at the Northport VA Medical Center on Long Island.  Dr. Fox is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD). As a Fellow, he has passed a series of rigorous examinations to be board certified in Vision Therapy and Vision Development. Dr. Fox is a charter member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabiliation Association (NORA). Dr. Fox is also a Fellow of the College of Syntonic Optometry (FCSO) and is a member of the New York State Optometric Association.  Dr. Fox is originally from Long Island and now lives in Schenectady with his wife, Randy. Dr. Fox and his wife have two grown daughters who live in the Capital Region as well. In addition to all his work to stay active in the numerous Optometric organizations, he is also a Rotarian and a licensed HAM radio operator. Dr. Fox also enjoys playing hockey, camping, and is an avid movie buff.


Emma Hebert, Chief Therapist – COVT

Emma has been working at Fox Vision since fall of 2011, and became Chief Therapist in 2014. Emma graduated from SUNY Oswego with a bachelor’s in Sociology and World History (’11). She is the first therapist from our office to pursue her certification from COVD. In her free time, Emma enjoys attending car shows, watching hockey, cooking, swimming, and visiting New York City. She also loves spending time with her family and pets. Emma’s responsibilities at the office, beyond providing therapy, include scheduling therapy appointments, training staff, and coordinating out-of-office learning opportunities for therapists.



kaitlyn websiteKaitlyn Dittmar, Certified Vision Therapist – COVT

Kaitlyn joined the staff of Fox Vision in May of 2014. Originally from Western NY, she is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta (’11) with a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and Literacy. Her previous experiences include work in the fields of elementary education and childcare. Having seen how often children can struggle with classroom learning, Kaitlyn loves helping patients figure out how to work through challenges and reach their full potential through Vision Therapy. When not at Fox vision, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, playing tabletop games, and volunteering in her church community.


Elizabeth Levy, Certified Vision Therapist – COVT, COTA

Elizabeth has been working at Fox Vision since June of 2015. She has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Social Work from Elizabethtown College in PA (’11). In May of 2015, Elizabeth completed school for her Occupational Therapy Assistant certification after completing clinical work at Wildwood School and Boston Medical Center. Elizabeth has worked with children for many years and enjoys helping them overcome obstacles to enrich their lives. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, babysitting her niece, watching hockey, boating, skiing, reading, traveling, volunteering, and advocating for Lyme Disease awareness.


Debra Biasini, Vision Therapist, OVT 

Debbie joined the Staff  August, 2015. Debbie is the therapist in the Plattsburgh Office. She graduated from SUC@Buffalo ’76 with a BS in Special Education and Elementary Education, the University of Vermont, Burlington ’80 with a MEd in Education of the Severe/Profound and Multiply Impaired and an AAS in Nursing Clinton Community College ’84. Debbie came to us after retiring from teaching with 36 years of experience teaching special needs populations at various functioning levels. Having worked with special needs students and adults, Debbie strives to help her patients increase their skills, provide ways to overcome their challenges and utilize what they are learning in Vision Therapy to make their learning and lives easier. When not working Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering at church, camping, cooking, crocheting, reading, knitting, and exercising.


Stephanie Grimason, Office Assistant

Stephanie began working at Fox Vision in October 2017. She lives in Niskayuna with her husband, Tim and three children, Brynn, Harper and Jack who completed a Program of Care at Fox Vision. Stephanie graduated with a degree in Communication from the University of Southern Maine. After graduating she was able to stay home with her children and volunteer throughout the community. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.  



Karen Boyark, Patient Care Coordinator

Karen has been working at Fox Vision since April of 2013. She lives in Rotterdam with her husband, Stan and their 2 pets. Karen has a background of Office Management, and previously worked in a Dentist office. Since working at Fox Vision she has seen how much Vision Therapy can change the direction of a person’s life and really enjoys seeing the growth and changes. In her free time, Karen loves to shop, knit, sew, travel and visit her family in Arizona.



Jewelie Koutelis, Marketing Coordinator

Jewelie moved to the Albany area shortly after graduating from college.  Jewelie graduated with a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences and with a degree in Social Work – Child and Family Services.  After graduating,  she began her career working for an Assisted Living Facility.  As the Assistant Community Director, she oversaw the Sales and Marketing Department and was the recipient of two Gold Leaf Awards for Excellence in Customer Service. Skylar Fuller, Vision Therapist, OVT

Skylar, who has a background in critical and mental health care within local and  national medical institutions, moved to the area in 2017. She joined our staff in December of 2018. In her free time Skylar trains like she is a marathon runner, reads while watching television and dedicates her time to helping others in need.


Ingrid Morak, Vision Therapy Administrator

Ingrid joined the staff of Fox Vision in April of 2019. She came from an administrative background, and is addicted to volunteering.  Over the years, she was active in the PTA as president, secretary, treasurer and fundraising chair.  She was a leader for Scouts, active in her church, coached Youth Soccer, and was a sports mom at her childrens’ schools while raising her six children. Ingrid is originally from the Thousand Islands Region via the Lake Erie Region, and traveled as an Air Force wife (her oldest was born on Guam).  Ingrid’s experience as assistant manager of an animal shelter has given homeless animals a special place in her heart. She lives in Latham with her husband, three of her children and her rescue dogs and cats, plus two birds and a large turtle. In her spare time,  Ingrid is Team Lead for Computer Graphics at her church, and has been an avid Broncos fan since 1978. She also enjoys flower gardening, reading, counted cross stitch, creating new recipes, camping with her family, kayaking, and hiking in the Adirondacks.
